Who am i?

I have over 20 years experience in the IT industry. From 15 years working my way up in a corporate environment I moved to Hewlett Packard as a Virtualisation Architect. During my time there several changes took place as we became Hewlett Packard Enterprise and then DXC Technologies.

From there I spent 4 years at Certum, a Scottish based Managed Service Provider, before moving on to my current position as a Cloud Solution Architect for Howell Technology Group (HTG). HTG are based in the North East of England and I focus on the Microsoft Modern Workplace and lead our Modern Workplace tower.

My position gives me access to all aspects of the Microsoft 365 stack to help customers get the most from their Microsoft investments.

I currently hold a few Microsoft certifications:

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

This page gives me the opportunity to spread my personal opinions on Microsoft 365 and its related technology areas while also giving me and my memory and nudge to remember some of the stuff I have been doing over the years.
